Assistant Director of Student Services

 

The Hingham Public Schools is seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as the Assistant Director of Student Services for the upcoming school year beginning in July 2026. The Assistant Director of Student Services will join a supportive team that places a high priority on putting students first in all decisions, collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and commitment to the goals of the District and to our students, families and staff.

Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Student Services provides instructional leadership for special education staff, assists the Executive Director in meeting of all special education and Civil Rights compliances, assists in the implementation and monitoring of the Special Education strategic improvement plan, independently develops and delivers evidenced-based professional development for K-12 educators and related services staff, is able to gather and synthesize student data across all grade level bands and along with Executive Director of Student Services provides leadership support and educator evaluation for specialized programs to K-12 schools.
